Think About This

Next Sunday we are going to have the first of a series of Missions Emphasis Sundays.  The purpose of these meetings is to hear what God is doing around the world. Our COGs show us what God is doing here in our immediate area, but Missions Sundays are intended to show us what God is doing in other places.  During the worship service we will hear from Viji Matthew about his ministry in India. During the Care Group hour we will all meet in the Family Life Center where Joy Bogle will tell us of her missons plans now that she has graduated. Alexa Catherman and Lindsey Kurtz will share what God is doing among Haitians in Miami.

R.C. Sproul reminds us of this important fact.

“The seeking of the kingdom of God is the central business of the church. Our Lord commanded that we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things will be added unto us. So there is no higher priority for the church then the making manifest and bearing witness to the Kingdom of our Savior. This is an eternal destiny with eternal consequences and is of eternal importance. Everything that the church does today and tomorrow matters and counts forever.”
