Covid-19 Safety Instructions

(Updated May 17, 2021)

With guidelines constantly changing, the subject on everyone’s minds is, “What do Covid-19 protocols look like currently at Community Church?” The elders have met, prayed and discussed how we as a church should handle these protocols and we have chosen to follow the CDC recommendations. So here is what it looks like.

The CDC and our state have said that everyone who is fully vaccinated is no longer required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors. The probability of a fully vaccinated individual of getting Covid-19 or spreading the virus is very low. With that in mind, the question arises as to who is and is not fully vaccinated and, are there any special circumstances to take into consideration?

Our decision is that we believe our people are honest and loving people of great character. So, we will not require masks but ask each of you to follow the guidelines as appropriate. We ask that you remain considerate of others who may have circumstances that require more caution or continue to prefer to maintain some distance. We also ask that if you are having a health issue such as a cough, cold or flu like symptoms that you stay home and watch the service on our livestream for the safety of all. Proper handwashing/sanitizing is still strongly encouraged.

Thanks for your cooperation in these difficult times. Rest assured that God is working in amazing ways. We have the hope that people need. We are a testimony. Share this hope with your friends and neighbors.
